The formula was not acquired from other Nazi scientists; it was his own creation. Vought then used covert operations to inject infants with the drug, creating a generation of loyal, powerful assets—though no formal program called 'The Supe Program' exists in canon. The substance also became a black-market commodity, sought after by desperate individuals and rogue factions alike. Its existence is the central secret that binds the corporate machine together; without it, Vought's stars would be ordinary humans, and their empire would crumble instantly. Notably, while some members of the Boys remain ordinary humans, Butcher and Hughie temporarily gain powers via Temp V in Season 3—a variant that is highly unstable, unlike standard Compound V.
